Director of Davenport Sparks
Mrs. Lindsay Golden is the Director of Davenport Sparks. Mrs. Golden aims to build strong and confident learners who are enthusiastic to take on new challenges. She believes in meeting each child at their current level to grow their unique strengths and improve any areas of need. Mrs. Golden keeps a larger perspective of the class in mind to cultivate group skills including empathy, respect, negotiating solutions, sharing, and a sense of community belonging. She brings a variety of solutions to the table that may be unconventional but always place the child first.
Mrs. Golden has worked with the Founder of Davenport, Liz Harlan, for over 10 years. After teaching many age groups, she settled into her Pre-K home. She mentored many co-teachers during her career and is excited to take on the Director role at Davenport Sparks. Mrs. Golden holds her Bachelors of Arts from Towson University and her Early Childhood Certification. Mrs. Golden enjoys spending time with her two children, Cailin and Dominic, and her husband Donald. She was born in Tampa, FL and raised in Cockeysville where she currently resides.
