Mrs. Beth Ward

Pre-K – Lead Teacher

Elizabeth (Beth) Ward is entering her third year teaching at Davenport with Becky Geckle in the Pre-K #3 class. Mrs. Ward received her bachelor’s degree from Towson University in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Ward also has a teaching certificate in Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE).

 While at Towson, Mrs. Ward taught in the Baltimore County Public School system, primary grades (K-2).  Outside of TU, Mrs. Ward taught in a private daycare in Pikesville with infants as young as 10 weeks up to pre-k. From February 2014 to June 2014, Mrs. Ward substituted as a lead teacher in a third grade class while the main teacher was on maternity leave. She taught Language Arts and Social Studies. This past August, Mrs. Ward celebrated her second year of marriage with her husband whom she has been with for nine years. 

 In her free time, Mrs. Ward enjoys spending time with her family, and friends. Mrs. Ward enjoys watching and playing sports, as well as cooking and reading. This February, Mrs. Ward and her husband are expecting their first child, a little boy! Mrs. Ward is very excited for the new addition to her family, and is looking at a Valentine’s Day baby in 2017. Until that time comes, Mrs. Ward love s spending time with her nieces and nephews.
